Privacy Policy
Kamo IT Juku LLC (“Company”) sets out this policy for information handled through the AccountLane desktop application (“App”) and the official AccountLane website (“Website”).
Our approach
The App is local by design. Login details, cookies, post content, and other session data for social networks and web services are stored only on your device and are not sent to or stored on the Company’s servers.
Information we handle
- In-app information: Account display names, identifying colors, and service session data. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted externally.
- Payment information: Stripe processes Pro payments. Stripe handles card information; the Company does not retain card numbers. To verify entitlement, the Company accesses only an anonymous license identifier and subscription status.
- Device information: To enforce the device allowance for Pro, a device identifier, device name, and last-used time are stored with the license key in Upstash. This data is used only for device management and is not linked to browsing activity or account data. You can remove registered devices in the app.
- Email address: The email entered during payment is used to send a copy of the license key through Resend. The Company does not operate a separate customer database; payment-related information remains in Stripe.
- Support inquiry information: We use the email address, message, optional license key, and—when opened from the app—the app version, operating system, and originating screen to respond and resolve the issue. Resend delivers the inquiry. To prevent abuse, a non-reversible hash of the sender's IP address is retained for up to one hour.
- Website analytics information: The Company uses Google Analytics on its Website to collect pages viewed, referral source, download button interactions, visit and session information, approximate location, browser, and device type. Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visitors. Advertising and remarketing features are disabled. Google Analytics is implemented only on the Website and is not embedded in the App. Browsing activity inside the App, registered accounts, login information, and other in-app data are neither collected by nor sent to Google Analytics.
Purposes
Information is used only to verify Pro eligibility, process billing and cancellation, manage licensed devices, respond to support requests, and understand and improve use of the Website.
Service providers
Information is provided to Stripe as necessary for payment processing, Resend as necessary to send license keys and support inquiries, and Upstash as necessary to manage device limits and inquiry rate limits. Website analytics information is provided to Google as necessary to operate Google Analytics. We do not otherwise disclose user information to third parties unless required by law.
Google Analytics
The Company uses Google Analytics with Google Signals and ad personalization disabled. Analytics cookie storage is restricted based on region. You can disable measurement by blocking cookies in your browser or installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
